IB is one step closer to reality

This Thursday and Friday marked the authorization visits for North Junior High’s application to be an International Baccalaureate school. Much of the work being done historically already aligns to the values of IB. This week, though, was a time to showcase how much NJH has made a commitment to a rigorous learning environment that produces responsible world citizens.

The visit kicked off in the media center, but I didn’t get much of a chance to connect with the team until the end of their visit. I was excited to show off how proud I am of our media center, of the way teachers and students use the space, and how the media center is truly the hub of inquiry in our school.

Check out the images below that showcase North’s pride and dedication to the IB.

Have you visited or been a pet of an IB school community? How has it impacted you as a leader, a learner, and a citizen of the world?
