My name is Jen Legatt. I started out in education at a very young age, helping my mother and father in their classrooms.

Middle School English is where I began my professional career. I taught one year of high school business and technology courses before landing in Farmington.

I set out to get a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and in the process coincidentally picked up my Library Media license.

After three years teaching English in the Farmington Area Public Schools in Minnesota, I took a position as instructional Technology Integration Specialist for the district. I wear many hats in this position- helping teachers on a wide variety of tools and programs. Every day is different! One day I may be working in a lab with second graders, the next with seniors, and in between working with teachers.

I am passionate in preparing our students for the 21st Century with higher level thinking skills and technological literacy.
