Day 37 of 366: "Go To" Places for Digital Tools

There are some powerful collections of digital tools that teachers can use to find ideas to use in their classrooms.

First, Carl Anderson has put together a Digital Backpack, a collection of digital tools. He lists Online Apps, Online Publishing tools, Search Engines and Reference Tools.
Lenva Shearing has created a Web 2.0: Cool Tools for Schools wiki. It lists tools for video, presentations, drawing, mapping, quizzes, and other creativity tools.

Have I talked about GarrisonSites yet? Mark Garrison is famous (or is that infamous) for his 50 sites in 50 minutes presentations. He is constantly updating his top 50 sites for education.
A newcomer on the block is Dan Picken’s StemmySites. Following the inspiration of Mark Garrison, Farmington’s own STEM Coordinator is posting his favorite sites.

As an Instructional Educational Technology Specialist, I don’t want to reinvent the wheel. These sites do an excellent job of capturing the tools available to educators to use.

What collection do you find missing when looking for web-based resources? Is there a niche that still needs to be filled?
