This has been a whirl wind week of three different class visits with multiple sections, a day of cold that threw many people off, and a little extra busyness in the media center.
Tomorrow, though, I meet with a group of media specialists to talk about what the future vision would be for Hopkins media centers. I am excited to be a part of a team. I love the initiative to look forward with others knowing that our dreams are within possibility.
Last Sunday, someone in #mnlead on Twitter mentioned the term “reinventing” media centers.
What I see is a future with more flexible spaces, activities that touch many types of literacies, and promoting and celebrating the possibilities of the media center.
Tomorrow is our first work session. I am very excited.
What do you see as an element of the new future for media centers?
