It’s the night before TIES, and all through my house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
(Who am I kidding? I have three kids 4-6 in the next room.)
The presentation was posted on Slides with care,
In hopes that the participants soon would be there.
The links were all nestled all snug on the (wiki) bed,
Ready to help learners fill up their heads.
And my computer in its bag, powered to the cap,
It’s time to settle for a pre-conference nap.-Written by a tired Jen
My poetry energy was expended on the lines above. Tomorrow is the TIES preconference. The presentation is ready, like the poem explains. But, for the past four days, I’ve had NO voice! Wish me luck talking for seven hours tomorrow!
