Tonight, this facebook post by Rebel Girls caught my attention: https://www.facebook.com/rebelgirls/videos/1596694693691853/
This is a link to the YouTube video if you do not have Facebook: https://youtu.be/Z1Jbd4-fPOE
The video used statistics to show just how few books have girls who do not depend on a prince, for example, to have a major role. The women in the video authored a book called Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. It highlights strong women who have made a difference in the world. The book is already on its way to my daughter’s nightstand. I can’t wait to read it with her!
