Day 253 of 366: Goodnight iPad

This weekend was a technology contrast for our family. After a long week and feeling a bit under the weather, my family spent a bit of time plugged in on Saturday. The kids played computer games together, watched a movie or TV show or so, and spent some time playing with iPod apps. If someone watched our family on just that day, they may be concerned about our media consumption.

Today, though, blocks were spread across the living room, Legos, Little People, markers, cars, firetrucks, a doctor’s kit, a doll house and other toys kept the kids busy. They spent this evening running around their grandparent’s house with the cousins.

Below is a video that I love. I need to buy the book Goodnight iPad. After our plugged-in Saturday, this is how I felt.

Do you have a favorite book/video that exemplifies the kids growing up in this digital age?
