I wanted to reference the sheet name in a cell in Google Sheets. I really think that should be a common formula! After some digging, some false starts, copy/pasting and referencing several websites, I got it! Check out the script and the resulting screen shot- which displays the sheet name (Sept 2).
Oh, the possibilities this opens up for me are endless.
