3D Printing Part 2: Chain-making Failure to Success

After the pendant was printed, I tried the chain from the SD card. This is the mess that followed. This is a moment that I was appreciative to be learning outside of school! Despite this failure, I planned to carry this with me as evidence of my learning process.

Part 2 - 1I realized that I had not leveled the heated bed as well as I should have. It took a few more attempts before I successfully printed the chain seen below. It was like magic to see the links form together to create my first print that opens the possibilities of printing.

Part 2 - 2

While not perfect, this chain is the first success that I can record in this journey. What amazes me the most is that these links print so precisely next to each other so that they create one chain. I’m gaining the confidence to move on. What will I create next?
