Emma claims she’s going to be a teacher when she grows up. Like when she’s five. When she’s six, she wants to be a bridge builder. And, when she’s seven, she wants to be an astronaut. On the way home tonight, she declared that now she wants to be a mermaid.
I remember once when I had the energy of a young teacher. But, not the energy of a four-year-old. Emma helped me to present some of her favorite learning apps tonight. I do think she’s a born teacher. It is hereditary.
