We finished rolling out our big push of library cards today! Almost 750 of our 900 students completed the form letting me know if they were able to get the basics started. Due to my original messages being stuck in spam, absences, and students who thought they hit submit but didn’t, I am very happy. We learned a lot over the three days. Having the rolling screen of submitted forms today made a huge difference.
So, my numerical stat of the day: 30% of NJH students report they got their first @hclib library card!! Many more will get replacement in Oct.
The students are excited for teen read month in October where replacement cards are few and up to $10 in fines are forgiven.
